Selwyn Hughes was a Welsh Christian who founded the Christianity ministry, Crusade for World Revival (CWR). He wrote more than 50 books, but is best known for the daily readings series,Every Day with Jesus.
Former Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey once described him as a ‘giant of faith’. Selwyn Hughes was a preacher, evangelist and minister. In 2005, Brunel University awarded him an honourary Doctorate of Divinity.
His daily reading series, Every Day with Jesus was inspired by his correspondence from his readers amd a response to modern-day topics and issues.
Selwyn Hughes died in 2006, aged 77.
