Originating from the North West, Chris currently resides in the Salford area of Manchester, UK where he serves as a Curate at a new church plant. Day to day he uses his talents to oversee the worship and other departments within the church.

Chris is also head of worship ministry for New Wine England. A role he has recently taken and this new responsibility affords him the opportunity to follow and pursue his passion of facilitating the local church, wherever it may be to be the instrument of change within their locality.

A gifted Songwriter, he has collaborated and written with many other worship leaders which has, in turn, led to his songs being sung all over the world. As well as his current church and other organisational commitments Chris has been writing more and more of his own songs. This has guided him to release his first full-length album, Saved by By Grace.

    This is a stunning album of simple, from the heart worship songs. I've been feeling jaded for do long after being force fed by US and Australian mega churches pouring out album after album, trying to sing songs that, just, don't, feel, like, worship, you know, someone gave me this brilliant album. I had forgotten about New Wine and how much I loved their style. I immediately bought 10 CDs to give to various worship leaders I know, along with Jeremy Riddle's book The Reset.

    I hadn’t heard of Chris Sayburn till a few weeks ago when I was looking online at other praise CDs and his was recommended. I took a chance and was not disappointed. This CD is full of good songs, well sung. Lovely sentiments and praise. I will be looking at more of his albums now.

    Really enjoying listening to this. Lovely, inspiring worship. Had not heard of Chris Sayburn before, but saw this reasonably priced on Eden and picked it up. Glad I did!
