This is an exciting shared role across Phase Hitchin and Christchurch Methodist and United Reformed Church. The purpose of this role is to support and inspire young people across school, church and community settings. You will strengthen wellbeing, create safe spaces for faith exploration and build consistent, positive relationships with young people in Hitchin and the surrounding area. The role is structured so that approximately 45 percent of your time is invested in Phase school and community delivery, 45 percent in Christchurch youth ministry, and 10 percent in shared partnership activity that strengthens collaboration across the town. You will join two aligned, supportive teams committed to helping young people thrive. The role is one coherent calling working across two aligned organisations, who already work closely together. Christchurch is a Methodist and URC ecumenical partnership with over 200 members based in Hitchin, North Hertfordshire. Phase Hitchin works in over 17 schools, alongside young people to build their resilience. Midweek Community & Worship • Lead and develop an inclusive youth space that builds belonging. Outreach, Volunteers & Safeguarding • Develop gentle outreach opportunities for young people not yet connected to church. • Recruit, equip and support volunteers and ensure safeguarding, safer recruitment and risk assessments are upheld. Working directly with the Reach Lead, this position will help to promote Lee Abbey to guests, church groups, partners, alumni and future Community members. The role will focus on capturing and telling the story of what God is doing in people’s lives in this place. It will also involve creating, developing and implementing marketing, communications, social media and digital content to promote Lee Abbey’s ministry. The successful candidate will be skilled in digital storytelling, photography, filming and editing, copywriting and simple graphic design. The role of Digital Storyteller and Communications Coordinator will be just one part of your life here. You will also take an active role in other aspects of Community life, including serving guests at meals, participating in Community and guest services, entertainment and more, according to your gifts. This is a one-two year volunteer position that includes free food and accommodation, plus a weekly allowance.

Right now: * PrayerMate has a loyal user base but significant room to grow * The Serpent & The Seed won multiple awards at launch but needs help finding its audience and increasing engagement * Our income comes primarily from ~300 individual donors, church & charity subscriptions, and some grant funding; we need to diversify and grow that. We’re looking for a Head of Growth who can take ownership of growth across all of this: more users, deeper engagement, stronger partnerships, and a more sustainable funding model. You won’t be “selling a product” - you’ll be telling real stories about how God is using these tools in people’s lives, but you will need to be comfortable with targets, data and asking people to join the donorbase. You’ll work closely with a small, friendly team of developers, bringing focus and intention to growth so that great apps don’t stay hidden. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s happy writing, talking, connecting people, spotting opportunities, and trying things out - without layers of management or corporate jargon. Main purpose of the job To ensure the efficient and effective administration of operational processes, systems and records as an integral part of Global Care’s Operations Team Key Tasks 1. To be responsible for the administration of key operational processes, including the remittance of funds to overseas partners, the monitoring of project reporting and reconciliation of project financial reports. 2.
