The North Oxford Overseas Centre (NOOC) provides a home for overseas academic visitors to Oxford. www.nooc.org.uk The Trustees are seeking a full-time Director to be responsible for all aspects of the Centre’s operations, leading a staff of eight people which includes an Assistant Director, an Administrator, a Finance Assistant, a Maintenance Manager and Housekeeping team. You will be responsible for housing management, finance, property maintenance and refurbishment, and the wellbeing of residents. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, and prepare and attend their evening meetings (usually 4 Board meetings per year). You will supervise out of hours response to emergencies and share in the on call arrangements, and attend occasional evening social activities. In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, it is an Occupational Requirement that the post-holder should be a committed Christian, upholding and embodying the Christian ethos of NOOC, as a key part of the role is to provide Christian leadership to NOOC. Mature thinking, leadership skills and pastoral sensitivity are essential, as are recent experience of general management and administration and the ability to relate to postgraduates and internationals. Experience in the property/housing or charity sectors would be an advantage. We offer a salary of £55,000-60,000 per annum, depending on experience, for a full-time position (37.5 hours per week, plus occasional extra unpaid hours as required), plus 10% non contributory pension contributions and a holiday allowance from 24 days per year (increasing by 1 day for each year worked, up to a maximum of 27) plus public holidays, and free on site parking. Qualifications In keeping with our Christian ethos, all Board members are required to be practising Christians actively engaged in their local church. Experience in one or more of these areas would be valuable - market research, direct marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, product development and selection, legal and, for our new chair, experience of being on a similar non-executive board. Financial literacy and the ability to interpret budgets, management accounts, and performance reports. Knowledge of fundraising, retail, or ecommerce operations, including an understanding of ethical and mission-led trading. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at board level. Demonstrated commitment to social justice, inclusion, and the mission of supporting people affected by leprosy or similar causes. Ability to balance independent judgment with collective decision-making, and to provide constructive challenge to senior leadership. Previous board or committee experience is beneficial, as is familiarity with UK charity regulation and best-practice governance. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our community hardware and craft shop in Handcross, West Sussex and steer its development as a community hub for the local area. This is a residential position, with accommodation provided on site in the house adjoining the shop. The successful candidate must live on site as a condition of the role. This is a hands-on role combining shop management, customer service, stock control, staff and volunteer coordination, and general responsibility for ensuring the shop runs safely, efficiently and profitably. The shop is operated by Dudley House Trust, a not-for-profit organisation serving the local community. We are looking for someone who can combine good commercial awareness with a genuine commitment to community-focused retail. What You'll Do The Fundraising Lead will spearhead TITG's fundraising strategy, helping secure the financial resources needed to sustain and expand the ministry. The post-holder will identify and pursue funding opportunities, develop relationships with supporters and potential sponsors, and coordinate fundraising campaigns that enable TITG to continue reaching, equipping and mobilising Gen Z across the UK. This role will work closely with the wider leadership team to understand ministry priorities and translate them into compelling fundraising opportunities.
