We are looking for someone with a passion for young children knowing the Lord, and some experience of teaching the Bible with a focus on Jesus, to lead the growing children’s ministry in the church. The Church and Community Relationship Coordinator is a role focussed on inspiring, resourcing and activating individuals and churches to understand the biblical mandate to care for children and families. You will inspire them to respond and play their part in the solution. The role will focus on growing relationships with Church leaders, networks and individual Christians. The role of the Church and Community Relationship Coordinator is to stir, resource and activate the Church as we work together to provide a holistic solution which prevents children from entering the care system, and increases the number of safe and nurturing homes through fostering, adoption and supported lodgings. The role also includes the recruitment and nurture of a team of volunteer Church Champions across your area who will enable us to maximize our vision and multiply our impact. You would work as part of the North team which includes staff who are located across Aberdeenshire. You will need to be able to easily travel and work across the whole council area, including the key areas; Fraserburgh, Peterhead, and down to Stonehaven, Inverbervie. This is in addition to occasional travel across the wider area including; Deeside, Moray Firth and Inverness.
