Generous Discipleship Adviser

Generous Discipleship advisers are committed Salvationists who embody and promote the biblical call to be generous disciples of Christ. They are dedicated to encouraging all who worship within The Salvation Army to embrace generosity as a way of life, becoming faithful stewards reflecting the abundant generosity that God has shown to us.

Working alongside other team members and supporting the Generous Discipleship Team Leader, you will be required to:

Key responsibilities:

Liaise and build effective relationships within divisions and corps. Advise, deliver and communicate biblical teaching. Support leaders and leadership teams in embedding generosity as a core value in mission and ministry. Develop bible study materials using a variety of media for personal engagement, teaching and corps use. The successful candidate will have:

Good communication and interpersonal skills Sound biblical knowledge. Administrative and organisational skills IT skills (be able to use Word, Excel, etc.) A minimum of 3 GCSE or equivalent qualifications is required This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Salvationist.
