Next Generation Leader – St James’ Church, Chorley Are you passionate about helping children and young people follow Jesus for a lifetime? St James’ Church is a gospel-centred evangelical church serving East Chorley. We are a joyful church family of different ages and backgrounds with a clear vision: See Jesus, Join the Family, Change Lives. Prayer and the Bible are central to everything we do as we seek to reach our community with the good news of Jesus. Around 100 adults and 35 children gather each Sunday, many exploring the Christian faith. We are now looking for a Next Generation Leader to disciple, support, and equip children and young people (0–21s) to grow into joyful and resilient followers of Jesus. This role will: • Focus on Youth Ministry • Have strategic oversight of all our work with young people, • Encourage and equip parents as disciple-makers in the home • Recruit and support volunteer teams We are looking for someone with a vibrant personal faith, experience discipling young people in a church context, and a passion to encourage and equip others for ministry. Salary: £26,000–£32,000 (depending on experience) Full-time. Permanent Contract
