Teen Challenge UK is seeking a part-time Financial Accountant to support the effective financial management of our charity. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory reporting, and ensuring compliance with charity accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts in line with SORP requirements • Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors • Maintain the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations • Monitor and report on restricted funds, grants, and donor-funded projects • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with charity regulations

About You • Qualified, part-qualified, or finalist accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) • Experience in financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail • Proficient in accounting systems (Sage preferred) and Microsoft Excel • Charity sector experience or knowledge of restricted fund accounting is desirable
