Sessional Youth Workers
Oasis Hub East Southampton
Hours: 0 Hours flexible sessions available – We are particularly recruiting for sessions on a Friday evening, Saturday morning and Tuesday after school. We also have flexible day time sessions delivering mentoring programmes in school

We have a great opportunity to join our team at Oasis Hub East Southampton as a sessional youth worker. We’re looking for people who have a passion for supporting young people to flourish. Engaging them in high quality provision that builds confidence and wellbeing; enables then to engage in fun activities and make positive choices. With a variety of sessions available across the Sholing and Harefield area of Southampton. There are opportunities to work in our youth club sessions, in our detached provision meeting young people out and about and to deliver mentoring programmes in Oasis Academies Sholing and Mayfield.
You’ll be supported by a thriving team of people who are dedicated to supporting families and young people in our community.
The successful post holder must have:
Experience of working with young people either as a volunteer or professionally Ability to build long lasting, positive relationships with young people Ability to work in partnership with our academies and other youth providers. We have various hours available throughout the week and will discuss with you which sessions you’d be interested in and available for.
Evenings and weekends delivering detached and club based activities – Tuesday afternoon youth club, Friday evening detached youth work alongside Saints Foundation session and a Saturday morning youth club all available.
