Youth Worker

Middlesbrough Community Church (MCC) is a growing, multicultural and Spirit-filled church of over 250 people, with an established and expanding youth ministry reaching more than 40 young people across Years 7–13.

We are seeking a passionate Youth Worker to take primary responsibility for developing midweek discipleship and evangelistic outreach among young people, while working alongside our existing Sunday provision and volunteer team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help young people encounter Jesus, grow in faith and confidence, and find their place within the life of the church. The role combines discipleship, evangelism, pastoral care and leadership development, with opportunities to build on existing community links and develop new outreach initiatives.

MCC is part of the Taking Ground family of churches and carries a charismatic, Spirit-led culture with a strong emphasis on mission, discipleship and church growth.

There is an occupational requirement for the successful applicant to be a practising Christian. Applicants must already have the right to live and work in the UK, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.
