Children & Families Worker

Middlesbrough Community Church (MCC) is a growing, multicultural and Spirit-filled church of over 250 people, with an established and expanding children's ministry reaching more than 40 children across Years 1–6.

We are seeking a passionate Children & Families Worker to represent Middlesbrough Community Church among children and families in the local community, developing relationships and creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus and explore the Christian faith.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine community outreach, relationship-building and discipleship, working alongside existing volunteer teams and building links with local families, schools and organisations. Activities may include toddler groups, holiday clubs, mentoring and family events, shaped by local needs and opportunities.

MCC is part of the Taking Ground family of churches and carries a charismatic, Spirit-led culture with a strong emphasis on mission, discipleship and church growth.

There is an occupational requirement for the successful applicant to be a practising Christian. Applicants must already have the right to live and work in the UK, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.
