Volunteer Gardener

Our guest house, Casa de Pan, situated near the end of the Camino de Santiago is seeking to design a prayer garden. The guest house has a plot of land adjacent to it that requires some landscaping, gardening, building fences, planting bushes or flowers, cutting down trees, finishing the prayer labyrinth and adding some prayer stations with benches, etc. Once this plot of land is transformed into a prayer garden it will support the ministry of Casa de Pan, which provides hospitality, soul care and spiritual formation to pilgrims and people with a desire to cultivate their spiritual life.

Every year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from around the world walk this pilgrimage and come to Santiago. Casa de Pan is located one day before the end. The vision is to provide a monastic space where guests can join in a rhythm of prayer, study, work and rest, seeking to grow in their relationship with God.
