Overview
We’re looking for a committed Christian to join Foundation Church Wokingham as Assistant Pastor and Youth Work Lead. Foundation Church is part of the Advance family of churches and a member of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK.
This is a dual-focus role: supporting the pastoral life and leadership of the church, while pioneering and growing youth work across Wokingham.
You’ll work closely with the Elders in the day-to-day ministry of the church; including pastoral care, discipleship, services, and volunteer development, while also leading youth outreach, schools work, and regular youth gatherings.
You’ll build relationships with young people, lead a team of volunteers, and help shape a youth ministry that reaches both church-connected and unchurched young people with the good news of Jesus.
We’re looking for someone who: Is a committed Christian, aligned with our vision and values. Has experience in youth work and/or church ministry. Is passionate about discipling young people. Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Works well independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Theological or specific ministry training. Experience in schools or community outreach. Preaching or teaching experience.
If you’re excited by mission, discipleship, and seeing lives transformed by Jesus, we’d love to hear from you.
Full-time | £29,500–£33,000 | 5 weeks’ holiday + UK Bank Holidays
