6 Month Fixed Term Contract - part time Purchase Ledger - International Charitable Organisation

We are recruiting for a detail orientated administrator to join our Finance Team, as a Purchase Ledger Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an accounts department supporting an International Missionary Religious Congregation. This is a part time role working 21 hours per week, there is a degree of flexibility on how these hours can be worked for the right candidate.

Set within the beautiful backdrop of the Surrey countryside, Ladywell Convent is the motherhouse of the Catholic Religious Order - the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM). Here at Ladywell we offer support to the sisters who reside within Ladywell and the other FMDM sisters across the world. As part of your day to day duties you’ll undertake the below tasks, plus any additional tasks, as and when required:

You’ll be inputting invoices onto the Exchequer account system Ensuring all invoices are put through the authorisation process in a timely manner Making payment of invoices You will also produce any required reports of accounting information You will be working closely with other members of the accounts staff helping to ensure the accounts department runs smoothly and in accordance with the ethos of the Congregation, while ensuring a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of your role.

To succeed in this role you will need to have great attention to detail and have an extremely high level of accuracy. Experience working within a similar role is beneficial, however not essential as full training will be provided. You will need to be a strong communicator, who is self-motivated and able to copy/input a large amount of data correctly and without error. You’ll also need to be extremely well organised, friendly and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be proficient with the Microsoft suite of programmes, especially Excel.
