Our jobs

Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church (Norwich Circuit) is looking for a YOUTH WORKER

Are you passionate about young people’s ministry?

Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church is a local church in the Norwich circuit with both Chinese and English-speaking congregations. We worship every Sunday with two simultaneous services, along with a range of activities throughout the week for people of all ages and interests. We are growing as a church and have reached the point where we would like to invest in our young people through a dedicated youth worker.

We are looking for a committed Christian to join our church family and look after the pastoral care and development of our expanding youth and young adults, alongside the wider church team. The aim is to have an enthusiastic youth worker engage with the young people of the church to help them explore and understand what it means to be a follower of Christ, with a view to prepare them to be lifelong disciples.

Since this is a relatively new role, there is the exciting opportunity to work with the church team to develop and design new initiatives to achieve our aims, along with bringing new life into our existing programmes. There will be a network of volunteers and leadership who will assist and support you in your role, as well as your personal & spiritual development. Training opportunities & networking would be available to help you grow.
