Our jobs

We’re looking for a gifted operations manager to join our growing church plant team. This person would be responsible for everything that helps the church and charity to run smoothly. It’s an exciting and varied role from people management, governance and building oversight to event planning, finances and procurement. You will be working alongside a talented team of clergy and ministry leaders plus some incredible volunteers, trustees and leadership team who support one another to make working at Concord Church an amazing place to be.

Good with people Able to prioritise competing demands Computer literate with Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Email) Ability to manage a team of people Polite, confident and servant hearted Ability to follow exact instructions in a timely manner from vicar Ability to manage a team of people Proficient at delegating effectively and keeping on top of multiple things at once Proficient in executing the vision of the church Project management skills Excellent communication skills both written and oral Excellent organisational and administrative skills Self-motivated Strategic thinker Flexible attitude Good interpersonal skills High attention to detail High level of confidentiality Budget management A committed Christian faith, fully supportive of the vision and values of Concord Church Desirable Practical experience in working in a church
