London Rangers is a Christian charity, football club, and education provider based in West London. Through New Level Academy, our independent alternative education provision, and our wider community programmes, we support young people aged 11–18 who may be struggling in mainstream education, at risk of exclusion, emotionally based school avoidant, have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or require additional support to re-engage with learning. Our approach is different from a traditional school. About the Transition & Engagement Programme The Transition & Engagement Programme provides short-term respite, intervention, and re-engagement support for young people aged 11–18 who are struggling to access mainstream education successfully. Many of the young people attending the programme may experience: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Autism and communication difficulties. Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance. Behavioural challenges. Low attendance. Risk of exclusion. Difficulties with confidence, relationships, and self-esteem. The programme combines mentoring, sport, arts, project learning, life skills, and community activities to help young people re-engage with education and move towards positive long-term outcomes. The Role We are seeking an exceptional Christian leader who can build strong relationships with young people while leading and growing this programme. The successful candidate will spend much of their time working directly with young people, supporting behaviour, engagement, attendance, and personal development. They will also work closely with schools, SEND teams, inclusion managers, and local authorities to develop referral partnerships and promote the programme. This is a hands-on role that combines youth work, mentoring, education, programme leadership, community engagement, Christian ministry, and business development. Applicants should bring a strong practical specialism in either sport, physical activity, creative arts, media, outdoor learning, or youth work and be able to use these activities to engage and inspire young people.
