A dynamic people person with excellent organisational skills, the Sundays, Events and Teams Co-ordinator will work across multiple teams to oversee all communication to team leaders for Sundays, ensuring the smooth delivery of Sunday gatherings. They will also proactively deliver internal and external events including FOCUS weekend away, major festivals such as Christmas and Easter, conferences, church gatherings, Summer Nights, Women’s and Men’s events.

Carers Connected (run by the charity Embracing Age) supports informal carers via weekly online Zoom sessions which include time for sharing experiences, chat, often a poem or song with a Christian theme, and always prayer for one another at the end. We need new volunteers (living in the UK) to join our dedicated team of hosts, who work in pairs to facilitate our gatherings. Are you a committed Christian? Do you have empathy with carers? Are you comfortable in leading a small group? Training and support will be provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, to serve, and to show God’s love to those in need. The post-holder will be expected to work with the other administrator to ensure that the necessary preliminaries for these are in place, accurate records maintained and the statutory reporting requirements to the Diocesan Office and Registrar are met.  The post-holder will need to communicate effectively with members of the parish staff, including clergy, and also with a wide range of volunteers. CRITERIA  Previous experience in an office environment is desirable.  Good IT skills using a variety of software is essential.  Good communication skills, both written and oral are essential.  An ability to show initiative, prioritise work and work effectively both independently and as part of a team is essential.  Willingness to undertake training as directed by the Vicar and the Church Wardens (for example, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, computer software and others) is essential. We’re looking for an organised and proactive Operations Lead to support the smooth and effective running of Visible Ministries. Working closely with our Director of Operations, you’ll provide practical administrative and coordination support across operations, finance, HR and organisational systems. Working in conjunction with the existing cafe supervisor, we need someone to manage our church cafe, Jubilatte. The cafe has been operational for a number of years, providing a warm welcome to many people both from our church and the local community. As well as two paid supervisors, we have a wonderful volunteer team. The cafe is open 9am till 4pm on weekdays. Although we can't legally justify a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be Christian, our cafe is an important part of our Christian outreach where we promote the Word of God and aim to be Jesus's heart and hands in the community.
