Our jobs

About Us We are a mission-driven housing initiative dedicated to ending family homelessness through an innovative Micro Equity Home Ownership model. We raise capital through community share offers to purchase homes for homeless families with children—enabling residents to build ownership gradually by purchasing shares in their home over time, providing security, stability for the families and children to recover from their difficulties and rebuild their lives in a safe environment.

Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraiser to lead and support capital-raising efforts for our community share offer. You will play a key role in engaging individuals, social investors, and community networks to invest in a scalable solution to homelessness. This is an opportunity to combine purpose with performance—raising funds that directly provide secure homes and long-term stability for vulnerable families.

The initiative will work in partnership with local support communities and faith communities to build supportive networks that help families recover from the challenges they have faced. This initiative also offers meaningful opportunities for the support communities to outreach and to share knowledge through practical support for families in need.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to promote the community share offer • Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential investors (individuals, institutions, and community groups) • Present the Micro Equity model clearly and compellingly to prospective investors • Organise and host events, webinars, and presentations to attract investment • Build partnerships with aligned organisations, networks, and influencers • Manage investor communications and follow-ups throughout the investment journey • Maintain accurate records of leads, investor engagement, and funds raised • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and outreach materials • Meet and exceed agreed fundraising targets

Key Requirements • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, investment promotion, or business development • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to build trust and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders • Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset • Passion for social impact, housing, or tackling homelessness • Experience with community shares, social investment, or property is a plus (but not essential)

What We Offer • Opportunity to be part of a high-impact, mission-led initiative • Flexible working arrangements • Performance-based earnings with strong upside potential • The chance to help deliver real homes for homeless families • A collaborative and purpose-driven team environment

Success Measures • Total capital raised through the community share offer • Number of active investors engaged and converted • Growth of investor network and partnerships • Contribution to scaling the Micro Equity model

Remuneration and Incentives Performance-based fee of 2% of fund raised: • Part-time target: 500,000 per year → £10,000 fee • Full-time target: £1,000,000 per year → £20,000 fee • High performer target: £2,000,000 per year → £40,000 fee Additional incentive: For each property successfully funded, the fundraiser may nominate themselves, a friend, or a family member as a potential tenant for a future property they help deliver, subject to standard tenancy screening and approval.
