Our jobs

We are looking for an experienced, organised and creative videographer to join our team. You will instinctively know what it takes to keep the attention of young people and how to communicate with film to move people to action. You will also inspire and serve the wider national team to film and edit video content which promotes the work of Youth for Christ across a variety of platforms. You will know how to get the best from the tools you have, whether it be multiple cameras on set or a smart phone in the street.

You will work quickly and creatively to fulfil briefs for one-off films, video sessions for young people, content for social media and videos to promote and demonstrate the work of Youth for Christ. You will also be up to date on industry trends and tricks which will make projects pop on screens both small and large.

We would strongly encourage applications from those based in the local area who are able to work from the office weekly. However, we also welcome remote working applications – please see the full Job Description for further details.

Salary: £25,000 Full time: (36.25 hours per week) Location: Head Office, Brierley Hill (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home) – would welcome remote, hybrid working. Holiday + perks: 20 days + 3 concessionary days + 8% pension

There is a genuine occupation requirement that the post holder is a committed evangelical Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Our staff develop a team of partners who support their work and the successful candidate will be required to raise a set target of personal support. While all our staff receive 100% of their salary, they are given a set target to raise through donors giving to Youth for Christ to help towards the cost of employment (personal support). The successful candidate will receive plenty of assistance and coaching to aid them in achieving their target. This role has a required support target of 50% salary costs.

The position is dependent on two suitable references, an enhanced DBS check and attendance at regular safeguarding training. Candidates applying for this role will be expected to comply with safer recruitment initiatives, including a self disclosure of any criminal history.
