Everything Katy does seems to go wrong. Home made rockets – you might expect to do some damage, but with Katy it’s even the smallest things; like playing on a swing, that end in calamity and chaos. Somehow, it’s never Katy’s fault – or so claims Katy. This family movie explores the careless life of Katy who always has an excuse for everything. Then along comes her cousin, Helen, who is equally full of life and carefree, despite being confined to an invalid's wheel chair.

Then Katy finds herself in her cousin’s shoes – well, chair and she doesn’t like it one bit. What Katy needs is a miracle; no just a physical healing but a mending of the mind and soul. Katy needs to take responsibility for actions, to take control of her life, to live with a concern for others and not just her self. In this family movie, young Katy learns that every one of her actions has an impact on someone else, and that she is responsible for what she does and says.

Starring the Kevin Whately (Robbie Lewis) from TV’s Inspector Morse and Lewis, this ‘Anne of Green Gables’ heart warming turn-of-the-century period drama is a 4-Dove Award movie for families to share and enjoy together.
