Joseph is the favourite son of Jacob but while he enjoys the love and gifts (including the famous coat) bestowed by his father, his brothers are plotting his downfall and sell him into slavery.

Despite starting out a slave, Joseph prospers in Egypt and is eventually elevated to one of the most powerful positions in the Egyptian government. As famine racks the whole region, his brothers are drawn to Egypt to seek food and are set on a collision course with the brother they thought they'd never see again.
