To play the role of "Jesus" on TV (and navigate everything that comes alongwith it), actor Jonathan Roumie must seek out who Jesus really was and discover His impact on the world.

Chapter One

Jonathan travels to Rome to explore ancient sites connected to Jesus. He also discusses balancing fame and faith with rock legends Alice Cooper & Brandon Flowers.

Chapter Two

After Rome, Jonathan seeks out voices that can help him find common ground in a divided world. Meanwhile, the demands of publicity and being the new “face” of Jesus grow.

Chapter Three

While pursuing a new acting opportunity, Jonathan struggles with the pressures that come with being the actor who plays Jesus – and all the expectations that come along with that.

Chapter Four

Jonathan takes one last trip to discover more about Jesus’ character and heart. He must learn how to apply all of these lessons as he steps onto the set of The Chosen.
