The prophecies of Zechariah reveal details of past and coming events, point to specific geo political situations and schemes, as well as identifying the perpetrators. They all attempt to describe advanced weaponry and scientific machinery that must have appeared fantastical at the time but can now be clearly identified, as satellites, guided missiles, air defense systems, GPS and surveillance apparatus.Zechariah also gives us via the word of YHVH, additional clues to the coming judge and judgement as well as the future king, known in Judaism as the coming anointed or Mashiach, along with his name, place of birth, nature and attributes. His place in TANAKH is as one of the twelve minor Prophets, but his prophecies stand on their own and are by no means insignificant. Each prophet has a particular and unique way of communicating the word of YHVH based on the prophecies themselves, the times they lived and had lived through.
