Is it TIME?: End Time Prophecies

When we think of the end of the world, it invokes in us visions of an apocalypse and global catastrophe. The word 'apocalypse' is used in different contexts- global warming, pandemic contagions, natural disasters, and nuclear war. Throughout the ages, the world has gone through such cataclysms. Yet the world has survived without absolute annihilation.

However, is it possible that all of the above catastrophes could happen at the same time bringing about the ultimate apocalypse- a global catastrophe affecting planet Earth? Is it possible to predict such an event by considering what is happening around us, the signs of our times?

What are the signs of our times?

The forests are burning, often deliberately set on fire. Plastic waste is found in the deepest depths of the ocean. Polar ice is melting. Drought and floods in different regions of the earth. Earthquakes are frequent, some causing tsunamis and the death of thousands. Famine and malnutrition are endemic in certain parts of the world. The recent Covid 19 coronavirus is only the latest of diseases spread by animals through retroviruses, something not known before the mid-twentieth century.

Humanity is at the lowest moral ebb. Fake news is a new phenomenon. Truth is alternate facts. Truth is relative. People are lovers of money, power, and fame. Few enjoy wealth. The majority suffer poverty. Farmers are encouraged not to plant crops or not to gather the harvest to ensure prices remain high. Corruption is found in high and low places. Sexual abuse, rape, and paedophilia are in the news daily.
