Historicist interpretations see Revelation as containing a broad view of history, whilst preterist interpretations treat Revelation as mostly referring to the events of the Apostolic Age (1st century), or, at the latest, the fall of the Roman Empire.
The Rapture of the Church is now in the rear-view mirror leaving the world reeling from already significant change. Multitudes of Christians have disappeared, and many others living on earth have perished as the Seven Sealed Book has been violently opened. Living conditions at this point are almost unbearable, and it is tempting to believe that life could grow any worse. But just when a man thinks it is as bad as it could ever be-the bottom seems to fall out. The world as we know it is getting ready to spiral out of control. In fact, in Christ's Olivet Discourse, He reminds us that the world is preparing to experience tribulation at a level of unprecedented measure; literally unlike anything, this Earth has ever seen.
