David explores and describes what he believes to be the focus of Jesus's ministry: a challenge to follow the Risen Christ in his words to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself. As God is Spirit and humans are created in the image of God, we are spiritual beings in physical bodies. Jesus and his disciples encountered people, taught and ministered out of doors. David encourages people to see the outdoors as God's holy temple and the natural place to encounter God in worship. A Christian's journey through "the eye of the needle" requires one to alter the way one moves through difficult situations. These concepts and beliefs challenge the reader to encounter the Jesus lifestyle.
