The Episcopal Church is wrestling with anti-black racism and white supremacy. However, there is a deeper question that informs any actions taken to rid itself of these evils. What did black people do to garner the hatred, the vitriol, the violence that has been visited upon our bodies since we were immorally brought to these shores over 400 years ago?
