Pope Francis’s first systematic series of Catecheses centres on one of the main themes of his Pontificate thus far: the evangelising mission of the Church. The Holy Father explores the many images of the Church including: family of God, body of Christ, the Church as a Mother and many others, and gives an inspiring meditation on the Church “as a mystery which we all experience and of which we are part”.
