First published in 1938, this book presents a selection from the papers of Nicholas Ferrar (1592-1637), intended to provide a detailed illustration of 'the life and work of a saint of the Church of England'. The text keeps as much as possible to the spelling and punctuation of the original manuscripts and editorial notes are kept to a minimum.
