The phenomenal and explosive proliferation of social media over the last decade is strong evidence that modern human beings are in desperate need for genuine relational connection between God, self, and others. In a digital age that is more connected than ever before, loneliness, anxiety, and a sense of estrangement is found across the globe in the 21st century. Beyond being relationally disconnected, issues surrounding ethnic discrimination, phobias of every sort, and the human conscience that consistently bears witness that something is terribly wrong is all addressed by the Holy Trinity in the redemption wrought by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
