The relationship between Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium can be understood by examining their historical development and the manner in which they interrelate in the process of revelation. Each aspect highlights the mutual connection between the Community, the Message (Divine Truth), and the Means of communication. The Community has the responsibility for recognizing and affirming the value of the Message (Divine Truth) through specific Means, which influence how the Message is transmitted. As a result, these three elements-Community, Message, and Means-are interdependent; the absence of any one of them inevitably weakens the others. Scripture cannot manifest without the prior existence of Tradition, as the Message (Divine Truth) requires sharing among individuals, whether through oral transmission or written texts. This principle applies equally to Scripture, which needs a Community to recognize and validate its inspired status.
