This provides an overview of the themes developed by two important contemporary theologians, Jurgen Moltmann and Elisabeth Moltmann-Wendel. Each theologian provides two lectures and a sermon that captures the major emphases that they have developed through the years. Jurgen is internationally known for his theology of hope and the phrase, "the crucified God". Elisabeth has developed insights in feminist theology and has also written on the concept of friendship.
