The general reader wanting to explore Christian doctrine on a personal, and not clerical or academic, level can face difficulties in finding accessible, enjoyable texts. This work sets out to overcome this problem by tracing the doctrine of the Holy Spirit through church life, the Bible and contemporary personal experience, and by exploring its relevance to social issues in the world at large.
