The book is written in three parts. Be Ready, drawn from the Parable of the Ten Virgins, is about the inner life - the habits, the character, and the slow preparation of the self over ordinary time. Be Faithful, drawn from the Parable of the Talents, is about stewardship - what we do with everything we have been given, in the confidence that it is meant to grow. Be Accountable, drawn from the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, is about the life fully lived - what readiness and faithfulness actually produce in the world.
