He was known as the Rabbi (or Jesus) of Nazareth, although he was born in Bethlehem, and his ministry had spread out from Capernaum. He was misunderstood in various ways, especially by the religious leaders of the time. He pointed out their hypocrisy while they tried to earn the favor of God through legalism. Yet they had very little compassion for outcasts or others suffering. They were enraged when he healed on the Sabbath instead of rejoicing over the healing of someone born blind, crippled, demon-possessed, afflicted by leprosy, or other debilitating or terminal illnesses.

The most extraordinary true story of all time is being told as a novel. Experience of the feelings and emotions implicit in the Bible narrative. Jesus's tears and heartbrokenness at a friend's grave, fury about unkindness, exuberant laughter about something funny, angst in adversity, jubilation at a wedding, a great catch fishing, a great culinary experience at a festive banquet, or the greatest gift of all, winning the galactic lottery, palpable and real, being profoundly human.

He gave up everything of his Heavenly glory except for his love for humankind. Conflict and animosity increased during his ministry until the showdown, which had far-reaching consequences. His impact on history cannot easily be overestimated in books, art, music, human, spiritual, natural sciences, theology, sociology, psychology, law, ethics, and many more subjects. His death and resurrection split all of time, from before Him to after Him.

Many similar endeavors have been done with great success, and many more would be done because the story never gets old, and the wonder of the story never ceases to amaze.

The purpose was to write a straightforward, fun-to-read story. The prayer is that everyone who reads it will find Christ where they are.
