This 4-session Bible study gets right into the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the gospel books. Session one begins with Jesus opening a scroll and announcing that certain prophecy has been fulfilled. Session two takes a look at the meaning and purpose of being the salt of the earth. Session three examines five parables including light of the earth, spec and log, two gates, house on a rock, and new wine. Session four ends with the ministry of John the Baptist, Old Testament washings, water baptism, and the fire baptism of Jesus. You will probably need to spend more than one week on each session if you have group discussions. Each session includes daily devotions and excellent questions for group discussion.
