What shall we tolerate?

How that question is answered will determine our morals, ethics, integrity and virtue our very identity as a nation and a people. Tolerance has become the idol of secular liberalism, a tolerance that demands approval of beliefs and

lifestyles in direct opposition to God's Holy Word, the Scriptures. God, though supremely patient, loving, and forgiving towards us sinners for Jesus' sake, does not and cannot tolerate sin and rebellion against His holy commands.

This book draws striking parallels between Old Testament Israel's tolerance of sin and rebellion against God's Word and our tolerance of sin and rebellion against God's Word in America today, including its disastrous effects on Church, Government, Education, Society and Culture. This ungodly tolerance is drawing America away from our Judeo-Christian foundation and our Founding Fathers' values and vision for America -values and vision crucial to the nation's welfare and prosperity. To ignore or abandon those values and continue our slide into immorality will inevitably bring judgment on America just as it did to Old Testament Israel.

Intolerance, rather than tolerance, is often the sign of genuine divine and human love. Genuine love has its source in God's Word of Truth, and genuine love never yields one iota of that Truth. Divine love for the sinner and divine intolerance of sin are clearly seen in the cross of Christ.

What is America's best hope for reversing the nation's religious, institutional, and cultural decline? Scripture and the writings of the Founding Fathers and other historical figures give us the answer.
