This book provides and in-depth examination of the self-concept from its originary ontological position as an object constituted by the Other, and presents an argument for a return to the significations possible of symbolic being-that the image-signs within mind may be transformative of the interior existential space, and a fundament of world-consciousness within the precept that being-in-the-world is subjective and an immediate result of what is posited by the conceptual forms generated by abstraction and a positional transcendental social stance that inhabits us as both particular and universalized representations of social transcendence-within contextual formalizations of what drives the landscape of human reality forward into the 21st Century.
