The book Locating Private Rabbani: Strength of Strengths is a fictional war story set in the Philippines. A drunkard and a mentally unstable man encounter a ghost, who warns of a coming war that will engulf Private Rabbani. Rabbani seeks out the military chaplain, hoping to be taken seriously about the ghostly encounters that Private Rabbani is having. Over the course of the story, it is discovered that Private Rabbani is the only stable, sound-minded individual. Despite his religious views being scoffed at by those less than morally astute individuals, Private Rabbani delivers a message of the impending war. Only that it may already be too late to retaliate against the oncoming Russian and Chinese enemy, who bombard the island. Woven throughout the story are insights and guidance on matters of the day when Private Rabbani is just a chef. He is aided in his pursuit by a war-hardened reconnaissance Marine who encounters Jesus to stop being a drunkard.

The story is about the power of faith, and how even the lowliest of individuals can play the most important part in human survival.*
