Agricultural and food policies provide direction for the global, regional, and national food systems. They are the result of interaction among a range of actors, each seeking to defend their own interests or those of their allies in light of the challenges that arise. From their status as women and stay-at-home mothers, these two leaders in the food sector have overcome all stereotypes, discrimination, and the bad faith of actors in this sector to conceive and implement a public space-in general-within a post-liberal world, that is, within social structures and organizations.
