In the fourth novel, The Anatomy of Small Stuff, we follow an obsessed ontology. In the fifth novel, A Terribly Long Night in Manhattan, the hero allows characters from famous books into his imagination. And in the sixth novel, A Reluctant Humanist, the hero works his way through all forms of Idealism, only to be stuck with human beings as they are.
