The heart of a worshiper is the first book by author, songwriter, pianist, producer and conductor, Frans Mkhaliphi. After a few years in the worship ministry, the author was inspired to write and share his views as far as the subject 'worship' is concerned. Spending time with God in prayer really pushed him to pour out his heart with the aim of helping many to worship. In his approach he addresses 'worship'as the only reason why man was created. He mentions that everything and everyone will pass and fade away except the worshiper. He believes that in heaven there's no prophet, nor preacher but the worshiper. God has sent forth His servant the preach His word with the intention of restoring the worshiper to his actual position. Such has to begin with a serious monitoring of the heart of a worshiper. In the book, he defines falling in love as the first step in worship. He further goes into the preparation of the heart of a worshiper since Jesus complained that the people worshiped Him by their lips when their hearts were far way from Him. He believes that true worship has to come from the heart, it shouldn't be just mere lip service. That's why he mentions that the worshiper has to give his heart away to the Lord because it can be so deceitful yet it's the same heart that God needs in worship. He records that worship begins in the heart. The author refers to every believer as a worshiper, not just the worship team in the church. He refers to signing as an expression of worship, not really worship. There are a few elements he brought on board in his worship definition. Such include holiness, righteousness and obedience to name a few. He doesn't really give one straight definition of worship but defines it in many different ways because of how deep the subject of worship is. He refers to prayer, fasting and offering as main components in the worship. He further defines obedience as the climax worship.
