Collects of the Word is a new collection of Collects for the Church of Ireland, and acts as a supplement to the Collects of the Day. Each collect relates directly to the lectionary readings for each Sunday and other holy days of Years A, B and C. They offer a resource for worship and sermon preparation and an aid to reflecting on the readings throughout the Church of Ireland and beyond. The collects have been written by the Liturgical Advisory Committee of the Church of Ireland.
