For each Sunday of the year there is a brief commentary and reflection, taken from Tom Wright's weekly "Church Times" column, on the Common Worship lectionary readings. Each section gives the lectionary references and provides a starting-point for thinking about the readings, drawing out points of connection between them. The book can be used in preparation for Sunday worship, or by anyone who wants regular and straightforward Bible study throughout the year, or even for sermon preparation.
