Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Clapsis, Ph.D. is Archbishop Iakovos Professor of Orthodox Theology Emeritus at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, where he taught Systematic Theology for nearly four decades. His scholarship focuses on ecclesiology, ecumenism, pneumatology, and the theological engagement of Orthodoxy with contemporary cultural and global realities. A prominent figure in international ecumenical discourse, he has served as Vice Moderator of the World Council of Churches' Faith and Order Commission and as a delegate of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to several WCC Assemblies.
