The story of Jesus Christ is told all over the world today in our homes, churches, and Cathedrals daily. Christianity, for over 2000 years, has captured the hearts and minds of Western Christendom from Jesus' day to ours. This book is an attempt to tell the story not of Jesus Christ but the story of the men and women behind this great faith. I believe that not only should the preachers and Bible teachers and seminary students have this knowledge but every Christian on earth. We need to know how the church survived and thrived until this very day. We need to see King Jesus marching His church through history empowered by the Holy Spirit. It's good to know the Bible from beginning to end, but knowing what happened after that is essential for us to know as well. It is my prayer that every Christian in the church today comes to know their Christian heritage. This book does not contain everything that one could know about the history of the church.
