The Breaking of Bread instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ at the Last Supper is the shared heritage of all Christian believers. This book contains a reconstruction of the Breaking of Bread service as celebrated by the first Christian church at Jerusalem following the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. In this simple act the first believers remembered with great joy the triumph of the Cross, celebrating their deliverance from the penalty and power of sin, their restoration to relationship with God and their receipt of life eternal.
