God reveals His heart for liberty in His Word. Yes. It's in there. How have we missed this? Discovering God's heart for liberty will change our relationships to others and to government. Liberty Is Love.

Liberty is like money. Most Christians agree that the money and resources we have come from God and should be treated with wisdom and stewardship. This often requires focus and attention and discipline to earn well, save well, spend well, and give well. Liberty is like that too. Liberty is a gift from God. He values liberty so much that He put his whole creation at risk of the choice made by Adam and Eve to obey or not regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He knew what they would do. He knew what the results would be, and He made a way for redemption.

In the latter part of the last century, there arose a phrase among Christians, "What would Jesus do?". This was intended to inspire Christians to consider how faithful they were walking in Jesus' teaching about mercy, grace, integrity, holiness, and salvation. These are all very important indeed. Yet as we look at the scriptures and see the plan of God, we must ask ourselves 'how did we miss His value of liberty?' This book looks directly to the scriptures examining them in a way that reveals God's original plan regarding liberty and then examining how we should walk in light of this. We can then ask the question again, "What would Jesus do?" as we see others through the lens of liberty which is the lens of love.
