The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the world's most famous church, beloved by Christians throughout the world and visited by million every year. It can be a very complex and confusing place to visit as today's church is the result of 1700 years of challenge, change, destruction and resurrection. This well-illustrated guide by Dr Deslee Campbell, assisted by a team of photographers, was produced to celebrate its 1700 years of history from 326 to 2026, and to assist pilgrims to understand it, appreciate it and to marvel at its recent restoration.
