Despite her physical suffering due to a tragic accident and her great material poverty, Anna Schaffer from Mindelstetten (1882-1925) led a life of great love for God and neighbor. The secret of her earthly life was that of an intimate union with Christ which, by divine grace, Anna Schaffer managed to deepen increasingly through the adverse circumstances of her life.
